Once you have decided that you might be interested in getting your family’s portrait taken, it’s time to set up a consultation date. Probably the best way to do this, is with a simple phone call, but you can CALL, TEXT, or even EMAIL with your request and I will get back to you. The consultations are generally held in my studio at 200 Sutton St. in North Andover.

At the consultation, we go over everything you need to know, so that when you arrive at the studio for the photo session, you already feel comfortable and you know exactly what Is going to happen! We talk about clothing, (I have loads of new or cleaned outfits here), whether you want it formal or more relaxed, and so forth. Here, you tell me what you are looking for, but if you don’t know, I have many (tons!) of photos to show you, and we DESIGN the photo(s) that we’ll get. MOST families really don’t know what they want. But by the time you leave, you will have a somewhat clear picture about what you’re looking for now. And, I answer any questions you may have. While it is best to come to the STUDIO for your CONSULTATION, we could meet at a more convenient location - nearer to your home or work. Generally the session takes about 45 - 60 minutes, but there is no time limit! We will also set a date for the upcoming PHOTO SESSION if we have not yet done it. There is no charge for this consultation.

Today it’s my job to make you feel totally relaxed and make sure you have some fun! Whether you are alone or you are a family of six, it should always be a pleasant experience. Generally, you are at my studio between 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on the number of people in your party and how many changes of clothing you want to try. The only charge is here: a $250 charge called a “sitting fee” - the only fee in the process - no matter how long it takes!

Now you can relax for about a week or two! From the images taken that day, I will organize them, work my MAGIC and create a ‘gallery’ for you. We will make another appointment, where you get to see your portraits, and you order your favorite. I will help you with all of this.

Turn around time is about 2 weeks. Paintings will take longer.

IF you would like your portrait painted (my fine arts mixed media process) I will guide you as to which file(s) will make stunning pieces of art. We will choose the image(s) that I am to paint, and I will give you an approximate timeline. Generally, it takes about two to three months to create a painting. You can see examples of this at my studio during the consultation.
